Who we are

DarkOps is video planning and production software for YouTube channels, made of the app.darkops.app website, the DarkOps Companion desktop app and the Chrome extension. For anything about your data, email contato@darkops.app.

What we collect

Account: email, password (stored irreversibly) and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account identifier.

Payment: processed by Stripe. We keep your plan, subscription status, currency and country. To allow one free trial per person we keep an irreversible code (hash) of your card — never the number.

App usage: channels, planning, briefs, production steps and approvals you create. Your videos, audio and images stay on your computer.

Companion: app version and operating system, to know whether it is connected. Your AI service API keys stay only on your computer.

Website measurement (first-party cookies)

To understand where visits come from and improve the website, we use DarkOps' own cookies, with no ad companies: dk_vid (a random identifier, 13 months), dk_sid (the current visit, 30 minutes), dk_consent (your choice, 1 year) and darkops-lang (your chosen language).

We record pages viewed, the referring site, campaign parameters (UTM) and the type of ad click identifier, the country (provided by the network — we do not store your IP), device type, time and scroll depth, and whether you opened checkout. When you subscribe, these visits become part of your account.

In most countries the legal basis is legitimate interest: you are notified on your first visit and can opt out at any time. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the identifier is only stored with your consent.

Advertising

The website does not currently use ad network pixels or cookies (Meta, Google, TikTok). If we start, it will only be with your consent and this page will be updated first.

Who we share with

Only companies that run the service for us: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (website and network), Hetzner (servers, in Germany), Google Cloud (app files), Brevo (account emails) and Google Workspace (our email). We do not sell data.

How long we keep data

Website visits: up to 13 months. Account data: while the account exists and then for the period required by law.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, portability or deletion of your data, withdraw consent and object to measurement by emailing contato@darkops.app. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Security

Encrypted connections, team access with 2-step verification and audit logging, irreversibly stored passwords and restricted server access.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will announce it on the website and, if you have an account, by email.
